Last Night I Met Jin (and Jimmy Mackey)



I apologize for all the grammar,tense mistakes. I'm soooo tired!!
And I hope no one is offended by what I have to say. It's just my opinion.

Hmm, I debated on whether or not I should write about what happened last night, but oh well. Here it goes. Last night, I went to a club in Roppongi called NextLex. I met Akanishi Jin and Jimmy Mackey (lol). I first saw Jin when I made my way to the back of the club. I noticed this boy wearing an oversized camouflage hoodie. I thought to myself, OH MY GOD THAT IS JIN!! But, I thought I might be wrong. Well, then I saw Jimmy Mackey and Shirota Yu near Jin and knew I was right. I had butterflies in my stomach the entire night cause I was determined to go over and say “Hi”. I mean this was a once in a lifetime chance. I saw a ton of girls make their way over to Jin’s area and I didn’t want to bother him. By the end of the night, a couch in his area was empty. My friends and I made our way over to that couch. First, Jimmy Mackey walked by, and I just yelled out “Jimmy!” he just looked at me and said “Woah”. Finally, Jin moved closer to where we were sitting. I stood up, said “Akanishi san, I just wanted to say hi”. All he did was give me a head nod…..I was pretty hurt. I wasn’t expecting him to fall in love with me, but a nod is just plain cold. I still like KAT-TUN. I won’t hold Jin’s actions against the rest of the group. But, I also think he should be more respectful of his fans. Anyway, I didn’t let that ruin my night and I ended up meeting and have coffee with a super cute Japanese boy. As I was walking to Mcdonalds with the Japanese boy, I saw Jimmy Mackey walking by himself. Guess he isn’t that cool. Sorry for any mistakes its 10AM and I wanted to write this before I forgot anything.

Things I Noticed:
Jimmy Mackey-He cracked me up the entire night. He was totally wasted and kept going from their “VIP” seating area to the dance floor. WTF??? He was acting like he was the owner of the club and had to check out things. He dirty danced with a couple of girls.
Shirota Yu-Beautiful. Shorter than Jin ( I didn’t know that). He never went out to the dance floor. Left before Jin.
Jin-Jin loves Caucasian girls. (I don’t mean this in a bad way. I’m all about the Japanese boys now that I’m in Japan) He had about 10 Caucasian girls around him the entire night. If you are a white girl, your dream of hooking up with Jin in Japan might just come true. Be warned though, he likes his girls super skinny. Like anorexic. Luckily, you don’t have to be pretty. Just skinny. Jin also only went out to the dance floor about 2 times. I don't really know why he didn't dance more. His fans weren't acting crazy or anything, and the club wasn't that packed. When he wasn’t talking to the foreign girls he was with this younger girl who also had a camouflage hoodie on. I don’t think this was a love interest or anything. They just seemed to be good friends.

I also think other JE members were present, but I couldn’t tell who because they were in disguise (sunglasses,hoodies).

I could kick myself for not having my cell phone on me. I really wanted to take pics.
I have to leave soon to go out with a friend, but I will answer any questions when I return later tonight.

Seriously?! O.O I wish I could meet someone from JE...

I don't think that Jin meant to be rude, in the end he doesn't owe you anything but acknowledging your presence, which he did. And there's no way for him to know that you're not a maniac. He was probably being cautious.

You say that he likes Caucasian girls. The way that you said it gives the impression that you aren't. Are you? Just curious. ^^; But yeah, it's been said by other members of KAT-TUN that he likes 'foreign features'.

I thought it was well-known that Jin is extremely wary of fangirls? That's prolly why he didn't do anything other than nod. He's had rather a lot of bad experiences from what I've heard/seen, so I really don't blame him.

But also, Shirota-kun IS taller than Jin (by quite a bit as well) so are you sure it was him you saw with Jin?

OMG Jin was talking to tons of girls. Wary would be an understatment after what I saw tonight.

Does Shirota have a brother??? Cause I've seen pics of Shirota and the person I saw def looked like him, but shorter than Jin.

That's so cool! I would be kind of hurt and embarassed if Jin just nodded to me, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised.

You're so lucky to even get to see him!! Anything special with the guy you had coffee with??

Haha, I don't see how anyone could not be hurt. Everyone dreams of having their idol atleast acknowledge their presence. But, that's real life, and real people for you.

Maybe, I'm going to email him when I meet up with friend who can help me write a message in Japanese.

He totally had a friend there that looked like kKame(but less girly).
I kept trying to get my friend to go talk to the guy.

I'm kinda sad now, knowing how much Jin likes girls. I won't ever be able to read slash fics the same way again,hehe.

Yeah, but like you say this is real life, so, we just can accept them like they are :x.
Anyway, you're so lucky, you get to see Jin! but it must have hurt to see Jin acting like that towards you.

I was surprised to see Jimmy, though. and, for girls who don't believe you, don't care ^^, is really normal~

haha thanks! I really wish I had a great experience to share. But, it's still worth sharing no matter what.

I only have 3 close friends only LJ and I don't think most members of this community are in Japan at the moment, so I can understand people hestiating to believe my story. lol at people thinking this is some kind of fanfic, i'm a terrible writer.

Actually, if you are ever in Japan I would recommend going to that club. A ton of celebs have been there (Nick Carter,Bon Jovi...etc).

i havent gone clubbing in like forever, but is nextlex where the old lex was? cuz i know they renewed it sometime last year.

i don't mean to be harsh or anything just my opinion but i don't think any person in the entertainment buisness would want a fangirl to suddenly come up and call out his name. Maybe someone who's REALLY nice would say like thank you, but a nod from jin is quite good i would say. i would've expected him to just ignore or like stare.

but thank you for sharing this cuz this is probably the first "i saw jin" story i've actually read. The others that i've seen are just silly and it's not totally not believable.

I've never been to the old Lex(I'm assuming that's Lexington Queen).

I was very calm when I went up to him. But, yeah, I can see what you mean.
I went over to say hi at around 4:40am (Jin was probably sleepy also!)

With all the foreign girls I saw tonight, I can't believe no else has written a "I saw Jin" story. But, the girls he was with looked European. I'm guessing most fans on here are American.

Dude, I think he was plenty polite. He's not under any obligation to be warm, and I think it was nice of him to acknowledge you at all. It's his job to entertain his fans, but off the clock, he has no responsibility to be anything other than the person he is. I wouldn't want that sort of attention all the time, so I can't say that I blame him.

It's one of my bugbears with the music industry, and particularly boybands. These people are human. They may have jobs that involve them being friendly and lovely and sweet, because their groups are targeted at teenage girls. In real life, nobody is like that all the time. People need to be realistic about that and not expect them to be the way they are on-stage. I'm not saying that nobody in JE is a nice person, but how they are on-stage is different from how they are in person. Fans need to remember that.

knowing Jin...you were lucky he nodded to you. Jin is the type that if anybody happens to see him, even if you're his biggest fan, just ignore him completely and let him try to talk to you. Jin said it himself he likes to do the chasing, and hates to be the one being chased. Sometimes i wonder with such an attitude, why Jin still attracts tons of fangirls and girls still want to flock to him instead of someone nice like Maru?

Hm... are you sure you saw Shirota Yuu? I dont mean any offense, but do you know how Shirotan looks like?

Take it this way. If you're a celebrity having your good time in a club, would you want your fan girls come bothering you? I'd be pretty pissed off. With Jin's personality, a 'Hi' is just too unrealistic. You should be happy he acknowledges you.

Anyways though, thanks for sharing this. ._.

It would have been great if he said 'hi' but from what other people have been saying about his attitude towards fangirls it's understandable ^^"..you are still so lucky to have seen him in person!!!

and so brave to have actually talked to him!! I would've spent the whole night wondering if I should go to him (and probably ending up not going) and if I did go, afterwards I would've spent the whole night obsessing and thinking I sounded totally stupid in-front of JIN!!!

Ah..I wanna go to Japan X.x...

I don't have much free time since I work a full-time job. I really regret not studying abroad.

Club LEX right? I love that club. The bartender at that club told me Jin is a regular, but apparantly he's really uncomfortable when fans come up to him in a club.

If I had seen Jin I would've talked to him but I would've pretended I have no idea who he is.

This was NextLex. I think someone above said NextLex is the new Club Lex. I just started going clubbing in Roppongi last December, so I'm not in the know about all the clubs.

Haha, I don't think that would have been possible with all the girls going over to see him last night(guess someone needs to clue them in also). Even if you didn't know it was Jin, he would have known you knew he was famous(does that make sense).

Despite the fact that he only gave you a nod, it was still SOME EXPERIENCE! I would seriously do anything to get some sort of reaction from him... and I do think his response to you was mainly because of his previous experiences with fangirls... maybe he doesn't want to get mobbed or draw attention to himself or something... @_@ ah well,

I'm still loling at how crazy Jimmy Mackey was acting.

I remember how people used to make fun of him, now I can see why.
